1. General Information

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Aqua Sharm Diving College, including recreational diving, recreational courses, technical diving, technical courses, snorkeling, and equipment rental. 

1.2 By making a booking or participating in any activity provided by the Center, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

1.3 The Center retains the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

2. Booking and Payment Policy

2.1 The agreement is established between the participant and Aqua Sharm Diving College, located at Sharm Inn Amarein Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt.

2.2 The Center is responsible for delivering and guaranteeing all booked services. Once the booking process is completed and full payment has been received, a confirmation email with the booking details will be sent to the participant.

2.3 The confirmation email must be presented upon arrival at the Center.

2.4 It is the responsibility of participants to meet all prerequisites for their booked activities based on their certification level and experience.

3. Participation Requirements

3.1 All participants must complete a medical questionnaire and sign a liability waiver before engaging in any diving activities.

3.2 Certified divers must present a valid certification card from a recognized diving agency (e.g., PADI, SSI, NAUI) upon check-in.

3.3 All divers must be in good health. If they have any medical conditions, they must provide a valid scuba diving medical certificate.

3.4 During check-in, all participants must complete a medical disclaimer form. If any questions are answered “yes” and no valid medical certificate is presented, the participant may be required to undergo a medical examination on-site (subject to an additional charge) to confirm fitness for diving.

4. Safety Regulations

4.1 All divers must follow the safety guidelines and instructions given by the Center’s instructors and dive guides.

4.2 The Center reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or deemed unfit to dive.

4.3 All divers must adhere to standard diving procedures, including buddy system rules and depth limits as per their certification level.

4.4 Personal diving equipment brought by participants must be inspected and approved by the Center before use.

5. Change/Cancellation by the Diver

5.1 If you wish to modify or cancel any pre-booked scuba diving activities after completing your booking and payment, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. You must submit a written request outlining the necessary changes.

5.2 In the event of a “no-show” due to unforeseen circumstances (situations beyond the diver’s control that could not have been anticipated), we allow a name change for the booking, provided all conditions related to the pre-booked services remain the same. You must notify us at least two days before the scheduled check-in date with the replacement diver’s details.

5.3 Any flight schedule changes affecting your pre-booked diving activities must be reported to us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

5.4 No refunds will be provided if you decide to discontinue your scuba diving holiday without a valid and documented reason that prevents you from utilizing the pre-booked services.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Online Booking

6.1 Cancellations by participants:

  • More than 15 days before the scheduled activity: Full refund minus processing fees.

  • Between 14 and 7 days before the scheduled activity: Partial refund (50%).

  • Less than 7 days before the scheduled activity: No refund.

6.2 The Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule activities due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational reasons. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

7. Equipment Rental

7.1 Rented equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received. 

7.2 Participants are responsible for any damage or loss of rented equipment and may be charged for repairs or replacement.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 The Center is not responsible for any personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during activities. 

8.2 Participants are strongly advised to have personal travel and diving insurance that covers accidents, injuries, and cancellations.

9. Code of Conduct

9.1 Participants must respect marine life, avoid touching or disturbing underwater creatures, and adhere to environmental guidelines. 

9.2 Any behavior that endangers others or disrupts activities may result in immediate removal from the program without a refund.

10. General Rules 

10.1 We strongly recommend an orientation dive at the beginning of your diving holiday, particularly if you have not been diving for an extended period or are unfamiliar with the local diving environment. 

10.2 If you have not been diving for one year or more, we recommend starting with a refresher program to ensure safety and enhance enjoyment.

11. Complaints

11.1 If you have any complaints during your stay, please report them to the Diving Center Manager immediately for resolution. 

11.2 If the issue remains unresolved, you may submit a written complaint within 15 days of the end of your holiday, and we will respond within 7 days.

12.1 All content on the Center’s website is owned by Aqua Sharm Diving College and may not be copied or distributed without permission.
